Burpee, from the Rock River

The Burpee Museum of Natural History is located in Downtown Rockford IL. It’s permanent exhibits include local biology, geo-science and prehistory; spanning four floors and almost 40,000 square feet.

Burpee Museum has received international attention after the discovery of “Jane”, believed to be the only juvenile T-rex skeleton. Jane, Diary of a Dinosaur is a must see exhibit.
